Please bring or coordinate the following gear for the St, Helens trip.

Climbing Pass Receipt Bring it to sign in with
Map & Compass Map of the south side of St Helens
Knife Optional 10 essentials kind of thing
Matches/Lighter With the stove that you will use
Sunglasses and/or ski goggles (dark lenses) A must
Sunscreen and Lip Balm  Another must
First Aid Kit A small one with the basics. Asprin may be needed for altitude headaches
Food (extra food for emergencies) Food for Saturday Snack, Lunch, Dinner, Sunday B'Fast, Snack/Lunch
Headlamp and extra batteries Very important
Altimeter Optional, nice to have 
Signaling Device (whistle and/or mirror) A 10 essentials thing, your option for St Helens
Gloves and Mittens, Winter Hat, Sun Hat Extra gloves because you will get wet sliding Saturday
Down or Synthetic Parka Good for sitting around camp or maybe on top
Wool or Synthetic Clothing, layered Long undies top and bottom (your choice here depends on your comfort level and the expected weather), Sweater, synthetic pants and a change cause you will get wet Saturday. Bring extra socks as well.
Waterproof/Breathable Parka Shell jacket
Waterproof/Breathable Pants or Bibs Shell pants with full side zips, lose the bibs, they are too hot.
Sleeping Bag You may want to go zero degree. You comfort level and clothing while sleeping will determine the bag you choose.
Sleeping pad I usually go with a foam pad and Thermarest on snow. Can go with 2 foam pads. Bring a small pad to sit on.
Ice Axe Never leave home with it
Carabiners (minimum 4) Bring a couple each so we can use them for various belay practices
Pulleys Bring your pulley if you have one.
Prussic Slings Always bring prussik's
Runners (2 double, 2 single tied) We will practice anchors and belays with them
Chest and Seat Harness Harness and webbing for chest plus biner
Helmet Don't really need a helmet for this one. No crevasses
Boots and Gaitors A heavy, waterproof mountaineering boot or rent plastics and gaitors
Crampons Yes bring crampons
Picket (1) or other appropriate protection device  Rope leads only. As an option they are great for staking out tents
Food bowl if needed, fork,spoon, cup for hot beverage, water bottles 2 Nalgene bottles minimum
Pee Bottle Don't want to get out of the tent in the middle of the night when nature calls? Bring a pea bottle!
Blue bags Gotta have em, gotta use em.
Snowshoes Bring your snowshoes, skis if you want
Trekking poles Makes walking easier. Will probably use them all the way to the top
Back pack Big enough for all the snow stuff
Summit pack If you have a small, light pack for the summit bring it

Ropes Rope leads only  
Pickets Rope leads only
Stove and Fuel One fuel bottle, stove and pot per tent or per every 4 people
Extra Fuel for emergencies One extra bottle of fuel to make sure we make lots of water
Tent or Tarp Shelter Tent with ground tarp of some sort and snow stakes for all the guy lines
Water filter Water filters speed up the process of melting and purifying water. Bring one for each stove if you have one available.
Wands  No wands
Avalanche Beacon & Probe We will bring them for demo
Snow Shovel One per tent
Radios Bring them if you have them. Primarily group leaders need them
