Welcome to Summits Northwest!
I try to post interesting pictures and trip reports from climbing, scrambles, hikes or whatever we do here in the Cascades of Washington and other places. We have pictures and reports ranging from Rainier to Grossglockner Austria and even a bunch from a trip up Kilimanjaro.

We are involved with the Seattle Mountaineers lead climbs for the basic and intermediate climbing students.
We are very much looking forward to continuing to work with our small instruction group in the spring on rock and everything else. Anyone interested in learning climbing skills should seek the help of a qualified instructor or contact one of the branches of the Mountaineers.

I am also involved with the construction and remodel of our new building in the old Sand Point Naval Air station at what is now Magnussen Park. This building is going to be very nice with indoor and outdoor climbing walls and even an ice climbing practice wall. I am excited about the project and our move in later this year.

A little about the site:
I am currently using Picasa Web for viewing most of my photos because it is easy for me to put up, edit and show videos. I am a climber not a web programmer so I do the best I can.
